CCRM Conferences & Workshops
The Cellular Therapies Manufacturing and Clinical Trials workshop is taking place in Toronto at the Sheraton Centre Hotel from October 29-30, 2015, directly following the 2015 Till & McCulloch Meetings. This workshop facilitates an understanding of the multiple aspects of conducting clinical trials in cellular therapies and will give participants a strong foundation in the cell manufacturing principles necessary to deliver safe, efficacious and cost-effective cell therapies.
Induced pluripotent stem cell (iPSC) technology has been pushed steadily by technical advancements and biological analysis, leading this still relatively new discovery to the forefront of stem cell research. Broad-range applications of the technique include disease modeling, drug screening and the promise for patient-matched cellular replacement therapies. Gaining expertise in reprogramming has relevance across a spectrum of research disciplines.
